Broadway Grand Prix

This family race park offers exciting adventures in the land and the sky. On land, there’s mini golf, an arcade and seven unique go-kart tracks that will put your driving skills to the test. If you’re looking to reach new heights, take a ride on the Sky Coaster or race up one of the park’s three rock climbing walls.

When you’ve raced your last lap, head across the street to Broadway at the Beach for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Hollywood Wax Museum

There’s tons of fun to be had at Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center! Whether you do one or all three attractions, your whole family will be entertained. Meet and greet your favorite Hollywood stars when you tour the wax museum; fight deadly zombies in Outbreak and save the world; or make your way through a potential 288 twists and turns to save Princess Hannah in Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors!

WonderWorks

At 50,000 square feet in size and 97 feet in height, Wonderworks has a dramatic exterior and is classically-designed with the appearance of landing upside-down….and that’s where the fun just begins!

The attraction is an “amusement park for the mind,” combining education and entertainment in over 100 hands-on exhibits that sparks the imagination and stimulate the mind. Visitors to the attraction enjoy a variety of experiences including being blown away by 74 mile per hour hurricane-force winds, maneuvering the controls of a NASA spacecraft to land the shuttle, lying on a bed of 3,500 nails, piloting a fighter jet, designing and riding a 360 degree virtual roller coaster, playing virtual sports and competing in a game of lazer-tag.

 

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

A visit to Myrtle Beach is not complete without a visit to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk! Enjoy ocean breezes as you stroll along the entirely oceanfront wooden boardwalk.  The Boardwalk features convenient beach accesses and a huge arcade that is fun for the whole family.  Recharge at delicious restaurants including The Bowery, Landshark Bar & Grill, and Peaches Corner. At the northern end of the Boardwalk, the huge SkyWheel offers great views of the area with enclosed air-conditioned gondolas. Be sure to stick around and see the dazzling colors of the SkyWheel lit up at night!

Ripley’s Aquarium

Ripley’s Aquarium is a $40 million, state-of-the-art, 87,000 square-foot aquarium experience, located at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is South Carolina’s most visited attraction, where guests are entertained by some of the world’s most beautiful, fascinating and dangerous aquatic life.

Visitors are surrounded on all sides by menacing giant sharks as they travel through Dangerous Reef, a 750,000 gallon tank, on a 330-foot moving glidepath. Other spectacular features at Ripley’s Aquarium include Ray Bay, highlighting a variety of rays from multiple viewing levels and Friendship Flats, where guests touch Atlantic rays, Southern rays, Cow-Nose rays, Spotted Eagle rays and Bonnet-Head sharks.

Pavilion Park

If you are a fan of corn dogs, funnel cakes sprinkled with powdered sugar, and the sounds of favorite games that offer big prizes, then be sure to check out The Myrtle Beach Pavilion.  The park offers a collection of classic rides from the historic Pavilion Amusement Park, like the famous Herschell-Spillman Carousel, Wave Rider, Pirate Rides, the Caterpillar, Dune Buggy, Boat and Teacup Rides. The historic German Baden Band Organ plays here too. There is a blast-from-the-past retail shop, five midway skill games, a Pavilion Museum, and much more!

Myrtle Waves Water Park

Myrtle Waves is the perfect way to stay cool in the heat! Your family can choose from more than 30 rides that utilize over 1,000,000 gallons of water. Whether you choose to lounge by the pool, have a group picnic under a pavilion or slide down a huge tubular slide, your family is sure to have a blast.

The park opens in the spring and closes in early fall. Admission to the park includes access to all of the rides and attractions. Exclusive luxury cabanas are available for rental.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball

Baseball fans rejoice! Myrtle Beach has an amazing and family friendly minor league baseball team.

Brookgreen Gardens

For a family looking to enjoy art and the outdoors while on their Myrtle Beach vacation, Brookgreen Gardens is a must-see attraction. Located just south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, Brookgreen Gardens is a wonderful place to spend the entire day with your loved ones. 

The gardens began as a personal purchase by Archer and Hyatt Huntington to preserve the 10,000 acres of land and boast more than 1,400 sculpture pieces which are visible from walking paths that wind throughout the garden. The garden’s Native Wildlife Zoo will give your family the chance to see alligators, goats, and various birds. The Gardens also offer seasonal boat rides and other excursions.

Brookgreen Gardens is an attraction you will want to spend the whole day at so plan accordingly!

2nd Avenue Pier

Take a stroll on this Myrtle Beach icon and take in an unsurpassed view of the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you want to spend the day fishing, grab a bite to eat or relax with a drink, 2nd Avenue Pier has it all. Their Wicked Tuna Restaurant is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.

Alligator Adventure

While spending the day at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, be sure to take the whole family to Alligator Adventure. A unique experience, Alligator Adventure offers families an up-close look at not only alligators but also turtles, beavers and tropical birds! EdVenture Myrtle Beach

Each year, thousands of locals and tourists visit the EdVenture Myrtle Beach for its interactive exhibits and programs. Located at The Market Common, this 3,000-square-foot facility is fun for kids of all ages.

Kids can climb aboard the Space Climber, have fun with a Puppet Show, get behind the controls at Mission Control and so much more.

Looking to have a blast in the ocean? Downwind Sails Watersports is the place to go! This watersports activity center offers banana boat rides, parasailing and sail boat rides for the whole family to enjoy.

La Belle Amie Vineyard

Calabash Fishing Fleet

Take the whole family to Calabash Fishing Fleet during your next trip to Palms Resort. Located in Calabash, NC, they are worth the drive. They offer a variety of cruises including the 1.5 hour Sunset Waterway Cruise, which is great for couples or families. Or, if your family wants to see dolphins, they offer Dolphin Adventure Cruises where you will see dolphins, sharks, fish, starfish, and more. Plus if for any reason no dolphins are seen on the cruise you are on, then you will get your next cruise for free! They also have 11-12 hour fishing trips for those who want to spend the day out at sea, fishing from their Navigator boat.

SkyWheel Myrtle Beach

A visit to Myrtle Beach is not complete without a visit to the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel. Located on the boardwalk, the SkyWheel is a giant Ferris wheel with enclosed air-conditioned gondolas. Opened in 2011, the SkyWheel has become an icon of the Myrtle Beach skyline. With unsurpassed views and comfortable seats, a trip on the SkyWheel is perfect for the whole family. Each ride goes around three times and lasts about 10 to 12 minutes. A family of six or less can fit in one gondola. Pirate’s Voyage Dinner & Show

The Spirit of Blackbeard and Anne Bonnie sailing the coast of the Carolinas, comes to life in the exciting Pirates Voyage dinner show!
